Fleeing and Eluding Charge Reduced For Kettering Man

Posted On: September 30th, 2015 by Bradley J. Groene

In the state of Ohio, a fleeing and eluding law enforcement conviction carries the penalty of six months in jail and up to a $1,000 fine. Recently the Cincinnati criminal defense attorneys at Luftman, Heck & Associates were contacted by a 40-year-old man with a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of fleeing and eluding officers. The man worked at a bar in the Kettering area. With a prior OVI on his record from a few years back, the man was looking for a strong representation.

Cincinnati criminal defense attorney Brad Groene looked at his case and found some inadequacies within the details. Groene took his case to Kettering Municipal Court where he fought hard. He knew his client had strong arguments to which he used in court. After long discussions with the prosecutor and three court hearings, Groene successfully got the charge reduced to a simple reckless operation charge. He received a substantially lower fine of only $200 with no jail time.

Bradley Groene made an exceptionally difficult situation much easier to handle. He kept me informed of everything that was going to happen and got results for my case far better than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend him for anyone who finds themselves in legal troubles.
