We're in this together

COVID-19 has impacted the lives of many in Southwest Ohio. As the situation continues to evolve, attorney Brad Groene with Luftman, Heck & Associates wants to reassure our clients and the communities we serve that we are taking this situation seriously, and putting safety measures in place that prioritize the health and well-being of our clients and staff. We also want to ensure you get the answers and consummate legal guidance you expect from LHA.

As a firm, we are carefully monitoring and adhering to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ohio Department of Health, other government agency guidance, and staying abreast of any changes or updates.

Our attorneys and staff have been advised on the practical measures to help stem the tide of COVID-19, including regular hand washing, the use of hand sanitizer, frequently disinfecting commonly touched areas, and social distancing whenever possible. This involves using video and phone conferences and communicating via phone and e-mail to limit in-person interaction.

If you are an existing client and have a question about your case or if you are looking for legal help after being charged with a crime in connection to the COVID 19 pandemic, please call (513) 338-1890 or contact us online. Attorney Groene is also available by cell (513.543.2715) at all times and will be in touch as soon as possible.

Southwest Ohio and KY Court Closures

As courts across the country take measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, some are restricting access and altering their procedures. In many Ohio counties, civil and criminal matters scheduled for trial are being continued until further notice.

As a result,, if you have a case scheduled, reach out to your attorney Brad Groene with LHA to discuss how the closure affects you:

No One Wants Charges Hanging Over Them

If you are involved in an active criminal case, you should carefully monitor the court website and call your attorney to find out what is expected of you. Do not miss any hearings or other court-mandated requirements without confirmation from your lawyer.

No one wants accusations and criminal charges hanging over their heads for any longer than necessary. Being charged with a crime is stressful enough, and to have that process extend longer than it should just add to the stress. We are making sure that whenever possible – we are working with the prosecutor and Court to reach a favorable conclusion.
